I know it's been almost two months since this boy's birthday, but in my defense we have been busy looking for a house, packing and moving into a new house. He turned 10 on May 27th. It was a Thursday, and a school day, so I brought cupcakes and goody bags for his class. Needless to say, they were all happy when I showed up bearing gifts. Per tradition, he picked his birthday meal: Dad's homemade pizzas. After school, while waiting for Dad to come home, we decorated the family room.

Singing Happy Birthday and the Birthday Boy blowing out his candles. (He decided to use the air from his nostrils. I guess it's a boy thing.) Happy 10th Birthday, Alex. We love you!
Exactly one month later, on June 27th, we celebrated Will's 3rd birthday. Since he is still so young and doesn't quite get the whole birthday party thing, we try to get away with simple family parties at home. A cake, some presents, maybe a few balloons.
I think he looks pretty pleased with himself on turning 3. What do you think?
